About neena.

Neena was born and educated in northern India. She studied art at school and was always an artsy kid in her class. However, a computer science degree followed by a career in Software industry, took her to Western India and later to Nigeria for 7 years.

She then moved with her family and two young children to Egypt in 2008 and soon thereafter resumed her work as an artist. She then relocated to Switzerland in 2013 where she got inspired by the serene beauty of nature and got immersed in it.

Neena's paintings are vivid representations of the emotions shown through her portraits and figurative pieces.

She is inspired by countryside, blue skies, bright shades of water and colourful flowers. Many of her paintings are enriched with the people and culture from wherever she lived. She thrives on variety and also paints flowers, gardens & landscapes. Oil, Acrylic and pastels are her usual medium but she also uses graphite and water color from time to time.

Living in outskirts of Geneva, she take advantage of her location to portray the beautiful & breathtaking scenes of her surroundings. Neena is passionate about recreating the light and colour of her chosen scenes. She is imaginative, creative and brings life in her work.

She currently runs an Art Studio in Geneva where workshops for all ages are conducted regularly. In addition, she continues to display her Art Work in exhibitions.
